Clock in the Passage Malbuisson
This amazing display in the Malbuisson Passage celebrates the talent of Geneva's watchmakers.
The Malbuisson clock and its bells amuse passers-by every hour with a small mechanical and folkloric display.
Since 1962, the Malbuisson Passage resounds every hour with an impressive miniature musical display. 42 bronze figures march to the chimes of 16 clocks, inspired by the Escalade, a key event in the city’s history. This fairytale creation designed by Eduard Wirth, shows off the world-renowned talent of Geneva’s watchmakers. The little show is the result of teamwork by artists and craftsmen who have recreated the historical event with meticulous care.
