Temple de la Fusterie

The first temple in Geneva designed for the Reformation, a haven of peace and culture in the heart of the city.

Built in the early 18th century, the Temple de la Fusterie is a gem of sober Baroque architecture, typical of Genevan Protestantism. Located on the square of the same name, between the Rues Basses and the lake, it marks a key milestone: it is the first temple built 'ex nihilo' for Reformed worship after the Reformation. Its interior, bathed in light, is designed so that the preacher's word can be heard by all.
