The Jet d’Eau in Geneva. A story, a symbol.

Since 1891 the Jet d’Eau has been one of the best known symbols of Geneva. It represents the ambition, vitality and international renown of a forward-looking city that protects its environment.
The Jet d’Eau is 140 metres high and shoots out water at a speed of 200 km/hr. It is owned by SIG, which maintains it and makes sure it is working properly all year round.
