Synopsis:
Twenty-five years after a major ethnobotanical study, researchers and the Waorani community of the Ecuadorian Amazon reunite. Between memory and ancestral knowledge, the film highlights the colonial violence endured by this people and the current threats posed by oil and logging industries. While exploring the transmission of knowledge, this documentary emphasizes the survival of a culture and the future of a forest in peril.
