Ants 20 May - 06 Jan 2019
The exhibition Ants presents 1001 different aspects of these fascinating insects: social organisation, colonisation of our planet and highly diverse life strategies. Unprecedented! A photographic journey of discovery through Auguste Forel’s historical collection, one of the richest in the world, an art and science dialogue in four phases and a fully operational giant anthill of Atta fungus-growing ants, as in 1977!
Ants inspire us to talk about evolution, ecology and anatomy : their remarkable adaptation to different environments, exceptional diversity and spectacular social behaviour...
Ants - an exciting journey !
