Animuse geologists share their passion in the grand salon of the Museum of the History of Science. (Please note that this conference will be held in French.)

A feathered dinosaur or a bird with teeth, Archaeopteryx is a bit of both. You don't become the world's most famous fossil by chance! The first specimen found, preserved at the Natural History Museum in London, was discovered in Bavaria in 1861, just two years before the publication of Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species. Its morphological characteristics, beautifully preserved in beige limestone, made it possible to understand that birds are indeed “dinosaurs”!
