We invite you to join us at the Café-restaurant Le Nyamuk to discuss and exchange ideas on topics that affect and concern us all. In conjunction with the exhibition ‘Afrosonica-Soundscapes’ at the MEG (Geneva Museum of Ethnography), the MEG invites you to listen to the world, from the sound of your footsteps to the music and song of the wind.
What resonates within us and around us?
This first meeting is an invitation to explore together the power of sound as a link between people, cultures and memories. Through Afro-diasporic music, voices and rhythms, let's discuss what sound tells us about the world and ourselves. A convivial moment over coffee, tea and snacks. No prerequisites are necessary other than the desire to discuss or listen.
Location: Café-restaurant Le Nyamuk, Rue des Bains 52, 1205 Geneva
No registration required.
