Sara Petrella and Mylène Steity present “ABC arts & musées. Histoire coloniale et voix autochtone” (ABC arts & museums. Colonial history and indigenous voices), a collective work designed in the form of an alphabet book to shed light on the issues surrounding the decolonization of the arts and museums. Combining science, creativity, and commitment, it offers a space for reflection and dialogue to rethink our relationship with the past and imagine new paths for the future.
Speakers : Sara Petrella, FNS Research Associate, University of Fribourg, Department of Art History and Archaeology; Mylène Steity, Art Historian, Graduate of the University of Neuchâtel; Carine Durand, Director of the Museum of Ethnography (MEG); Floriane Morin, Curator at the MEG, Head of the Africa Department.
