Two exceptional artists, Dimitris Mpasis and Panagiotis Margaris, join forces in a musical collaboration of rare beauty and emotional depth, presented by the Mediterranean Music Festival in three Swiss cities – Basel, Geneva, and Zurich.

Their program features timeless songs and melodies by Dimitris Mpasis, as well as works by legendary Greek composers such as Mikis Theodorakis, Vassilis Tsitsanis, and Stavros Xarchakos – all uniquely arranged by Panagiotis Margaris. The repertoire is further enriched by solo guitar pieces from the extensive discography of the internationally acclaimed guitarist.

Dimitris Mpasis is regarded as one of the most expressive voices in contemporary Greek music. Deeply rooted in Greek musical tradition and with numerous collaborations with renowned composers, he stands as an authentic heir to Greece’s rich interpretive legacy. His voice – powerful and full of emotion – bridges the past and the present, offering audiences a true recital of soul and sensitivity.

Together with Dimitris, the internationally recognized guitarist and composer Panagiotis Margaris, with his incomparable sound and virtuosity, creates a magical musical dialogue between the classical and Greek repertoires. Together, the two artists present a concert filled with emotion, where voice and guitar intertwine to tell stories of light, passion, and truth.
