CHIVI began his career in his native Colombia. Fascinated by the art of fusing music and its rhythms, he went to school there to learn mix techniques. With his diploma in hand, he played a series of dates in Cali's nightclubs and mixed for a local radio station. His first exposure was to electronic music, but it was on his arrival in Switzerland that he branched out into Latin music. A brilliant turn, since he is now one of the best djs of the genre in the country.
