A daughter of the African diaspora, raised on radio waves—a lifeline that kept her connected to her roots across the countries where she grew up, all the way to Geneva—singer/rapper Evita Koné uses her alter ego, Belama Sounds, as a DJ to set the mood for her audience and take them on a musical journey.
