Marguerite, like the flower, left her mark on the last season of Star Academy, with vibrant performances and a luminous, electric personality. For her first single, she offers an intimate, no-holds-barred piece of herself. “Les filles, les meufs” is a powerful confession.
She needed to sing about her bisexuality, a part of her that guides and delights her, as much as it questions her. Marguerite, the youngest of three boys, has spent her whole life searching for her place, exploring her relationship to femininity and masculinity.
These questions are central to her project. Marguerite writes sensitive lyrics and heady melodies. She intrigues, captivates and moves, without ever losing her playfulness.
