The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) is the leading international event dedicated to cinema and human rights. Held every year in Geneva, it takes place during the main session of the UN Human Rights Council. Over the last 15 years, it has gained a reputation as an international festival not to be missed, shining a spotlight on human rights violations overlooked by the UN and the mainstream media through exceptional films and high-level intense debates. The Festival also offers numerous exhibitions, performances, workshops and encounters with guests, and a creative space to engage. Open to the public and broadcast online for free, the FIFDH gathers artists and filmmakers, activists and political personalities, victims and grassroots actors, NGOs and private foundations, and of course the general public for a unique event in the heart of Geneva, the international capital of human rights.
