To Launch Its 25th Anniversary Season, Geneva Brass Presents an Extraordinary Experience Where Music Meets Astronomy

To open its anniversary season, Geneva Brass invites audiences to a unique event at the crossroads of music and astronomy.
During the annual Perseid meteor shower, listeners are invited to enjoy an immersive open-air experience where music and the night sky come together. In a location preserved from light pollution, the rich sounds of the brass quintet accompany the observation of shooting stars, enhanced by live scientific commentary.
A suspended moment of wonder, where contemplation, knowledge and music intertwine.

Eugenio Fiore-Alba
Astrophysicist, educator and astrophotographer, Eugenio Fiore-Alba is dedicated to making astronomy accessible to everyone.
Having studied in Lausanne and Geneva, he has spent many years developing projects that combine scientific rigour with a sense of wonder through observations, lectures and workshops.
Invited to accompany this concert, he offers engaging and accessible insights into celestial phenomena, adding a scientific and contemplative dimension to the musical experience.

Please bring your own deck chair or camping chair and a flashlight. Please note that the final section of the path is steep.
Parking is available near the sports centre or the Bernex Town Hall. From there, the site can be reached on foot.
Duration: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place at 8:00 pm at the Galerie Aux Portes de la Champagne, Rue de Bernex 313, 1233 Bernex. As seating is limited, advance reservation will be required. Any change of venue will be announced on this page.
