During these three exceptional performances, let yourself be carried away by a grand choreographic fresco combining poetry, energy and artistic diversity. From classical to modern jazz and contemporary dance, our students and choreographer teachers invite you on a sensory journey full of movement, driven by passion and creativity.
In the first part, the dancers will perform in direct dialogue with the Conservatoire Populaire Symphony Orchestra, which will perform three major works from the classical repertoire: Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Bizet's L'Arlésienne. The second part will continue the enchantment with dance creations set to a soundtrack, exploring a variety of musical worlds combining energy, nuance and modernity.
On Friday 5 and Saturday 6 December at 6.15 pm, a dance prelude will be performed in the foyer of the BFM by students from the Danse des sens course, a unique initiative developed for young people with visual impairments. This sensitive and inclusive event is free to attend and demonstrates the Conservatoire's commitment to making the arts accessible to all.
