INTRODUCTION TO FLAMENCO

With a focus on movement and tempo, this introductory course is open to everyone and introduces you to the different 'palos', or rhythms, of flamenco. Each one conveys intense emotions, from the most radiant joy to the most profound sadness. You'll also explore percussion with the palmas - the traditional hand claps - as well as a few choreographic sequences. It's a great way to learn a new form of expression and, of course, to experience the pleasure of dancing.
