In this recital with French pianist Romain Hervé, Genevan lyric singer of Chilean origin Emiliano Gonzalez Toro delivers the essence of Spanish-language melody.

Many of you are undoubtedly familiar with Emiliano's golden voice, his extreme musicality, his radiant charm, and the stage talent he displays in opera or with his ensemble I Gemelli. He has sung the 17th and 18th century repertoire with the greatest Baroque conductors of our time, but too few music lovers have had the chance to appreciate him in recital.
The program he has prepared for Lied and Mélodie with his partner Romain Hervé features superb works that are rarely heard in our region and will undoubtedly captivate you with their colors, by turns suave, vivid, and poignant.
Musicologist Richard Cole, a beloved presenter of our concerts, has agreed to lead the recital, which will take place as usual at 7 p.m. in the hall.
This recital will also be an opportunity for us to unveil the program for our 2026 season.
