Guest of honor at the 2025 edition of the ANIMATOU festival, Raman Djafari will return to Geneva in February to present his animated music videos at L’Arcade, the new exhibition space of the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, located on the ground floor of the Mont-Blanc Centre, where the future Plaza will be housed.
The evening will begin with a one-hour retrospective of Raman’s music videos, followed by a Q&A session with the audience over a drink and a friendly aperitif.
An illustrator and animator based in Berlin, Raman Djafari moves effortlessly between 2D and 3D animation. Through vibrant imagery and rhythm-driven storytelling, he builds a universe marked by an embrace of fragility, populated by surreal worlds and characters that hover between the familiar and the fantastical.
A wonderful encounter in prospect, for an evening conducive to a kind of mini collective trance, carried by singular drawings and palpable tenderness.
