Maya Rochat presents a new immersive installation, continuing her research and production cycle, Poetry of the Earth, which began in 2023 and has been exhibited at venues including the MEP - Maison Européenne de la Photographie (Poetry of the Earth, 2023) and Photo Elysée (Water is Coming, 2024).
At the heart of this work, a new projection system accompanies a video accompanied by a sound composition, immersing the visitor in a total sensory and visual experience. In this series, the artist explores a dialogue between photographs and videos of natural elements (water, light, wind) combined with abstract paintings created in the studio or during painting performances*. These images respond to one another and reveal the organic connections that unite them.
