The MEG is partnering with the Grand Théâtre de Genève to host three Apéropéras, echoing the Afrosonica – Soundscapes exhibition.

Apéropéra
A slice of life, a slice of laughter, a slice of music: this is the sofa that will accompany our urban aperitif. Come and sip your vermouth or spritz in the company of some funny characters. It's an opportunity to (re)discover a composer, a work or a theme from a fresh and contemporary angle, far removed from the usual recitation of historical dates. A format rich in anecdotes from yesterday and, above all, today. It's also an opportunity to hear performers in a repertoire similar to the production!

Activity:
A tour of the display dedicated to Japonism will be led by Damien Kunik, curator in charge of the MEG's Asian collections. This tour will be accompanied by a musical performance to be announced.
The tour will be conducted in French.
