Sylvie Courvoisier, a Swiss pianist and composer based in New York, is a major figure in international jazz and improvisation. Her world, at the crossroads of jazz, contemporary music, and free improvisation, combines lyricism, audacity, and virtuosity.
The second set will bring her together with saxophonist-composer Ohad Talmor for a unique encounter, weaving a dialogue between two strong and complementary voices of contemporary New York jazz—between formal rigor, freedom, and musical complicity.
