Synopsis:
Gal makes a living by collecting recyclable waste. To escape her violent husband, she flees with her two children across São Paulo on a journey that takes on the tone of a modern-day odyssey. Carried by powerful performances—most notably Shirley Cruz as a fearless mother—this film portrays the determination of a woman resolved to take control of her life and secure a future for her children. An ode to life and maternal love.
