Six years ago, it was within the walls of the AMR that Ravi Ramsahye brought together the musicians who would form PROTOTYPE. Today, the band returns to present “Sunglint” (Neuklang, February 2026), an album rooted in jazz, nourished by math rock, and tinged with midwest emo. It evokes the sensation of a horizon opening up, of lucid calm in the face of entropy. Like a fleeting glimmer piercing the shadows, “Sunglint” brings us back from nothingness to the present, reminding us of what really matters.
