Starting May 13, the Maison de la Mécanique invites you to reflect on the concept of time through the original drawings of François Schuiten, in resonance with a selection of pieces assembled by master watchmaker Denis Flageollet. The exhibition also features the presentation of his ambitious creation, the Mecavers project, all enhanced by a soundscape specially composed by Bruno Letort.

The Mecavers is a unique piece, composed of thousands of gears, tracing the story of Time — a universal history of terrestrial and celestial mechanics, imagined and brought to life by Denis Flageollet.

This exhibition is an invitation to explore the poetry of mechanics and to contemplate the brilliance of human ingenuity in its quest to understand Time.
