Virginia Woolf defied literary conventions to depict intense inner worlds – her reality sublimated, striking and deeply moving. Resident choreographer Wayne McGregor leads a brilliant artistic team to evoke Woolf’s distinctive stream-of-consciousness writing style in this monumental work, which rejects any traditional narrative structure.
Woolf Works weaves together themes from Mrs Dalloway, Orlando, The Waves and other works by Woolf. Created in 2015 for The Royal Ballet, this Olivier Award–winning triptych captures the essence of Woolf’s singular artistic mind.
