“Geneva Gift Card” (Tourism voucher according to the law of 25 June 2020)

Card recipients

The Geneva Gift Card is given to anyone who has booked a minimum of two nights in Geneva in all approved hotels and guest houses in the Canton of Geneva.

The voucher is given to the recipient upon check-in at his/her place of accommodation. Only one is given per room.  

Value and validity

This voucher, worth CHF 100, can be used until 31 December 2020. The voucher is personal, non-transferable and valid only if completed in full.
The amount of the voucher cannot be converted into cash. Any outstanding balance will not be refunded. Replacement of the voucher in the event of loss or theft is excluded. Vouchers are not cumulative during the same stay.

Establishments that accept the card

The Geneva Gift Card is valid only in establishments that have agreed to participate in the “Geneva Gift Card” action and that have registered with the Geneva Tourism & Convention Foundation. This applies to tourist service providers, hotels, guest houses, restaurants, cafés, bars and wine-growers.

Tourist service providers are companies established in the Canton of Geneva.

Use by visitors

The user presents the voucher to the institution, which then debits the amount of the voucher directly from the bill.
