The island in the heart of the city is a cultural meeting point.
The Brasserie des Halles de l’Île is located within the walls of what was, in the 17th century, one of Geneva’s slaughterhouses. Today, it is easily accessible from all sides of the town. This wonderful space has been redeveloped and hosts now the Brasserie restaurant, the art exhibition space Halle Nord, the Papiers Gras galery and the art and architecture bookshop Archigraphy.
