Boat "Genève"

The most beautiful terrace on the harbour.

From the middle of May to the middle of September, the "Buvette du Bateau" offers to its customers enjoyable moments with a view of the Jet d'Eau and Lake Geneva.

The boat "Genève" is used for navigation anymore, but remains along the quay between the flowery clock and the Jet d'Eau. Built in 1896, it is one of the first ships of the "Belle Epoque" and the historic place of the murder of Empress Sissi. It was saved from destruction by the Association pour le Bateau "Genève" in 1974. From May to September, the "Buvette du Bateau" offers today's specials at noon and tapas in the evening. The restaurant is a privileged place where you can have a pleasant moment of relaxation, with a view of the Jet d'Eau and the lake of Geneva which is why is has the repuation of being the most beautiful terrace on Lake Geneva.
