The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is the United Nations’ expert agency and voice regarding the state and behavior of the Earth's atmosphere, its interaction with the oceans, its climate and the resulting distribution of water resources. WMO’s role in safeguarding the environment on an international level has been vital.
Built in glass, steel and aluminium, the building is respectful of the environment while its grandiose allure with the double façade seems to dominate the surrounding space.
On the top floor of the building, the cafeteria provides a panoramic terrace with great views of the lake and the city.
Group visits are organized upon request, depending on the availability of meeting rooms.
