Musée National Suisse - Château de Prangins Between nature and culture - A very special place.
Situated in a marvellous location overlooking Lake Geneva, Prangins Castle is the perfect place to enjoy a walk, visit an exhibition and discover the history of modern Switzerland.
This idyllic site above Lake Geneva is part of the Swiss National Museum, located in the French speaking part of the country. The Château de Prangins, built in 1730, has accommodated illustrious guests, such as Voltaire and Napoleon Bonaparte. The main exhibition is a fascinating tour, highlighting Switzerland on the move. Temporary exhibitions showcase arts, culture and Swiss society.
