European Heritage Days (EHD) 2021
Description
Taking place every year in September, the « Journées européennes du patrimoine » (JEP) are held each year around a specific theme, chosen at a national level. On this occasion, various monuments are opened to the public.
Program 2021:
In 2021, the JEP are organized around the theme „ to do and to know-how“. The manifestation will be held in a plural way, as the range of crafts and skills on display will be so diverse. Whether you are a specialist or a layperson, everyone is invited to immerse themselves in the world of crafts, to discover materials, skills and skilful constructions, to watch craftsmen and craftswomen at work or even to try out a craft technique yourself. The expert guides will be mobilized on the weekend of September 11 and 12 to help visitors discover many prestigious sites in and around the city.
On Friday, September 10, the JEP will be dedicated to women with the first ever Heritage Day organized in Switzerland to promote a mixed and egalitarian vision of heritage. An educational and inspiring program not to be missed!
Registration will open from September 1 to 9 on www.journeesdupatrimoine.ch
