DOUBLE CONCERT as part of the JAZZCONTREBAND Festival
at 9 p.m.:
NEKO (Japanese for “cat”) is a duo founded in 2011 by Hiroshi Funato (Kyoto, Japan) and Jean-Jacques Pedretti.
The two musicians don’t speak the same language, but as soon as they bring their two instrumental voices together, they never stop communicating…
Free-form (often), emotional, joyful, and sometimes gently aggressive… just like cats.
Featuring: Hiroshi Funato & Jean-Jacques Pedretti.

at 10 p.m.:
RECOVER

Hiroshi Funato, double bass
John Menoud, alto saxophone
