Geneva Tourist Angels
In the heart of Geneva, a unique, welcoming initiative will brighten up the visitor experience throughout the summer: the Geneva Tourist Angels!
Consisting of young city lovers who share their passion for and prime knowledge of the city, this innovative programme reflects the spirit of hospitality and generosity for which Geneva is renowned the world over. Find them every summer in July and August throughout the city!
As you stroll along the lake, around the Jet d’Eau or through the mazy streets of the Old Town, keep an eye out for the Geneva Tourist Angels, who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. From 1 July to 23 August, they are available daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the city and at their welcome pavilion on Quai du Mont-Blanc.
Easily recognisable by their blue uniforms and cargo bikes for some, they’re ready to guide you, share some valuable tips, and reveal well-kept secrets that will help make your stay unforgettable. Feel free to chat with them, ask them about their favourite places and restaurants, or to tell you anecdotes about the city known only to the locals. They’ll also give you all the practical information you need, e.g. about public transport or lake cruise, and will provide you with a map of Geneva if needed.
