*Jésus Triste* is a wind blowing—perhaps in vain—against the established order that grinds down individuals for the benefit of a dominant system. It is the story of a gang of bus-fare evaders and troublemakers seeking a line of flight, a draft of air, to slip between the raindrops of the "empire of the worst" that rules over them. With their twisted words, their odds and ends, and their parables, they aim to lead a life free from accountability, hoping not to end up penniless and bare-assed in the mud.
