On an empty white stage, three bodies encounter one another—a man, a woman and a bird. Everything begins and is invented with this meeting, as though for the very first time: language, movement, images.

Performed by the founding duo of Baro d’evel alongside Gus—the company’s longtime raven companion—Là is a vibrant score composed from minimal elements: black and white, human and animal, masculine and feminine. On a stage treated quite literally as a blank page, gestures, sounds, words and traces, even the most delicate ones, emerge like fragments of an unheard language, of a world coming into existence before the eyes of the audience.

Two years after Qui som?, Baro d’evel returns to Comédie de Genève with this intimate performance, presented here in a symphonic version with the Orchestre de la Suisse romande.
