Books that explore gender and gender stereotypes. For children aged 5 and over. MEG Library. Free, registration required.

Les Créatives and the MEG are joining forces for a weekend packed with a varied programme entirely dedicated to young children.
This event features storytimes for children aged 5 and over, with stories that challenge gender stereotypes without ever imposing a ready-made answer.
The aim is simple: to offer children a space where they can identify with a diverse range of characters, and to give adults a chance to reflect on how we pass on these norms.
These readings take place within the exhibition ‘What is the future?’, an exhibition accessible to children, designed for both adults and young children.
The event is free of charge but requires registration. Please arrive at the museum reception at least 5 minutes before the start of your chosen session.
The readings are in French.
The event is free but has limited capacity. If you have booked a ticket but are unable to attend, please contact the Créatives ticket office (billetterie@lescreatives.ch) so that your place can be made available to someone else.
Hosted by: Maria Hugo, Head of the MEG Library, and Anouck Hoyois, cultural mediator responsible for young people and families at the MEG
