A musical performance for all ages, featuring piano four-hands and an actor. Music by Modest Mussorgsky and Jean Françaix, inspired by paintings by Victor Hartmann and Auguste Renoir.

A suite of ten piano pieces linked by "promenades"—composed by Modest Mussorgsky and inspired by paintings by Victor Hartmann—this work has enjoyed immense success and spawned numerous arrangements. The performance will feature the version for piano four-hands, transcribed by Bruno Rossignol.
Inspired by paintings by Auguste Renoir, Jean Françaix’s *Quinze portraits d’enfants d’Auguste Renoir* (Fifteen Portraits of Children by Auguste Renoir) is dedicated to the composer’s two young daughters, Sophie and Christine.
Written specifically for this performance, the text will invite the audience into an imaginary museum…
