Fanny Utiger soprano
Oscar Esmerode tenor
Sacha Michon baritone

Featuring operatic arias and choruses by Giacomo Puccini, Arrigo Boito, Pietro Mascagni, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
An intense and deeply contrasting musical journey, bringing together two great masters of late nineteenth-century Italian music and emblematic works from the Classical sacred repertoire.
The concert “Light and Darkness” explores spiritual aspiration and human passion, journeying between darkness and light, suffering and hope. Through these works, the audience is invited on an emotional journey that illuminates the tensions and harmonies at the heart of the human experience.
For this exceptional concert at Geneva’s Victoria Hall, the Liederkranz-Concordia Choir will be joined by a symphony orchestra assembled especially for the occasion. Choir, soloists, and orchestra will combine to deliver a powerful musical experience, where the expressive intensity of the verismo repertoire meets the spirituality of the great choral masterpieces.
A concert celebrating emotion, beauty, and light.
