MAMCO and the Museum of Art and History invite you to a dual tour of their exhibitions to explore how our perspectives and narratives regarding female and male nudity are constructed.
At 6:00 p.m., meet at the RATH Museum to explore the exhibition dedicated to the work of Sylvia Sleigh, which challenges and subverts conventional ways of viewing portraiture and the nude genre through the lens of 1970s feminism.
Then, at 7:30 p.m., head to the MAH for a guided tour of the collections on the theme of “from the heroic gaze to the erotic gaze.”
