To be or not to be in the closet. Life is good for Vicente, 76, in Maspalomas, a seaside resort in the Canary Islands. Its naturist beaches, its nightclubs with tempting backrooms, its inviting sand dunes, its refreshing cocktails, and all those gay men… Paradise, in short. But for how long?
When age catches up with him, Vicente resolves to move into a retirement home under pressure from his resentful daughter. An inexorable return to a facade of heterosexuality, which turns into a gray, rainy nightmare, punctuated by sexist remarks and demands for masculinity.
An empathetic and funny story that explores the free will of LGBTIQ+ seniors.
