N-8 IDS has been a detective for as long as anyone can remember in the dark and gritty RC. Cybernetic vision, enhanced reflexes, speed and muscle strength, and a Uni-Link implanted at the back of the skull… But above all, a psyche haunted by digital neurosis.

N-8 is about to be drawn into a case where the line between reality and digital data becomes impossible to distinguish. The investigation is no longer just about a crime, but about N-8’s own memories…
