Performance from May 26 to 28 at the Comédie de Genève. Four visually impaired artists combine dance, music and theatre to explore different ways of seeing and sharing space.

The four performers in Vision are dancers, singers, musicians, actors and actresses. They are also visually impaired to varying degrees. Blurry, double or peripheral vision, or not seeing at all becomes the inspiration for an installation that proposes a new way of sharing space with the audience, drawing on sound, touch and solidarity.
For many years, Compagnie Shōnen has created collective works bringing together artists from a wide range of disciplines concerned with disability, with the aim of challenging normative ways of seeing and rethinking artistic processes from production through to performance. Choreographers Eric Minh Cuong Castaing and Aloun Marchal, together with dramaturge Marine Relinger, invite audiences into theatre sets that circumvent obstacles and open up spaces for unexpected encounters on stage. Following HIKU by Eric Minh Cuong Castaing and Anne-Sophie Turion, presented at Comédie de Genève in 2025, Vision offers a new invitation to shift our gaze and reconsider our point of view.
