A unique place founded by concerned Genevan photograhpers committed to promoting photography to the level of fine arts.

The Centre de la Photographie Genève (CPG) favours all aspects of contemporary photography, focusing on urbanism, documentary style and visual culture. The CPG produces an average of five to six monographic exhibitions per year. Together with museums, art centres, galleries and libraries, it also organises the triennial 50 Jours de la Photographie à Genève (50JPG), a large thematic exhibition.
