ADN Baroque
Théophile Alexandre brings voice and movement together in a lyrical ballet of rare intensity, at the crossroads of the Baroque and the contemporary.
Singer and dancer Théophile Alexandre's ADN Baroque is a powerful and singular creation. Carried by Guillaume Vincent's piano and choreographer Jean-Claude Gallotta's gestures, he revisits the Baroque repertoire in body and voice, in 21 pieces chiselled like the 21 grams of the soul.
In this piano-voice and piano-dance face-off, music becomes flesh, gesture becomes melody, and Baroque is revealed in a resolutely contemporary light. Between well-known masterpieces and forgotten treasures, this show embodies a sensitive, organic journey through human emotions.
A delicate, vibrant moment of suspension, where the boundaries between lyrical art and dance are blurred.
