Synopsis: Samir uses private family photos, animations, music clips and unknown archive material to tell the entertaining story of migration from neighbouring countries in the South to Switzerland, from the post-war period to the present day. While up until the 1950s the SP and the trade unions led Swiss working-class culture, these institutions gradually lost their importance and a new force emerged that has shaped our society to this day: labour migration.
