Bachata Geneva Festival brings together dancers from 70+ countries at Palexpo, 8–12 Oct 2026, celebrating bachata through workshops, socials, and the World Finals of the Bachata Social World Cup.

The Bachata Geneva Festival – “The Festival of Nations” is a major international dance gathering devoted to bachata, bringing together participants from over 70 countries.
Taking place for the first time at Palexpo Geneva from 8 to 12 October 2026, the event highlights Geneva as a worldwide meeting point for bachata, a dance and musical tradition rooted in the Dominican Republic and recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The four-day programme features international workshops, daytime and nighttime social dances by renowned DJs, as well as the World Finals of the Bachata Social World Cup, showcasing elite dancers selected through global qualifying events.
The festival is open to dancers of all levels, professionals, and bachata lovers from across the globe.
