In popular belief, thunderstorms are often associated with phenomena more powerful than man. It's an unleashing of the heavens against which there's seemingly nothing we can do. To protect himself, however, rapper Bekar has decided to do things differently: facing up to his fears and pain, to better weather the storm. From a very early age, the 25-year-old artist from Roubaix has been torn between his passion for music and a life marked by turbulence. Brought up in a family with sometimes complex relationships, but driven by a constant desire to prove his true worth, it was now time for Bekar to turn a corner. The result is Plus fort que l'orage, a debut album that tells the story of the bittersweet daily life the young rapper from Lille has been navigating for the past 25 years.
