From 29 April to 14 June, an artistic walk along the Geneva-Annemasse Voie verte, exploring the natural resources that shape our daily lives.

The third edition of the (re)connecting.earth Biennale will take place from 29 April to 14 June 2026. It offers a trail of artworks and insights into biodiversity, accompanied by workshops, talks and screenings on the theme of natural resources. From Eaux-Vives station to the Comédie de Genève, the open-air trail follows the Voie Verte to the Villa du Parc Art Centre in Annemasse, where the exhibition continues.
From sand to gold, from oil to water, via farm animals, this edition, entitled ‘Sensitive Resources’, focuses on the natural resources that are omnipresent in our daily lives. Drawing on field research that bridges local contexts and global issues, the artists explore the processes of extraction, circulation and use of minerals and other raw materials.
The exhibition brings together over 50 works—installations, sculptures, videos, photographs and instruction-based works—by 20 Swiss and international artists. It also incorporates existing works, some of which have been produced in the past and are now sometimes forgotten, and invites visitors to explore this cross-border territory on foot or by bike.
