Drawing on conversations with undertakers, mediums, doctors and specialists in funeral rites, Alenka Chenuz and Amélie Vidon create a polyphonic theatre piece about memories, fears and human bonds. Personal and professional experiences of death are brought together, from grand farewells to quieter, more discreet departures.

Songs, rituals, a badly connected microphone, a trade in tissues and inappropriate laughter punctuate this tender, vibrant theatrical ceremony. Bouffer les pissenlits par la racine reminds us that speaking about death is also a way of celebrating life.
