Formed on Staten Island two decades ago, The Budos Band (Daptone Records) has forged an unbreakable musical bond among its nine members. Drawing on Afro-soul, Ethio-jazz, and deep funk roots, their sound has remained consistent across five studio albums and fiery shows on four continents. With a reputation that transcends musical genres, their tracks have been sampled by the likes of Panic! At The Disco, Black Eyed Peas, and Earthgang.
